James has practiced at many hospitals, his most recent being Gerald Champion Memorial Hospital in Alamogordo, NM. He is certified by the American Heart Association in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ALCS), Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). James is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, New Mexico Association of Nurse Anesthetists, Oklahoma Association of Nurse Anesthetists and the Texas Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

James King is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist – Private Practice at Southern New Mexico Surgery Center. James earned his degree in nursing with high honors from Long Beach City College of Nursing in Long Beach, CA. He then graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Anesthesia from Hamot Medical Center/Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in Erie, PN.
