Retirement Savings PlanSouthern New Mexico Surgery Center offers a generous 401(k) plan with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 3 percent of eligible pay up to $3000. You are eligible to make contributions after 90 days of employment and receive company matching funds. 
Medical CoverageEligibility for medical benefits starts on your first day of employment all administered by BCBS. The plan offers great prescription drug benefits through retail pharmacies and mail order. VisionCoverage is offered through VSP. You may use in- or out-of-network vision care providers and receive either contact lenses or eyeglass frames once every 12 months. Dental CoverageEligibility for dental benefits starts on your first day of employment all administered by BCBS. You can choose a primary care dentist for yourself. You pay only your share of the cost for other dental expenses, and the amount depends on the services you receive. You may use in- or out-of-network providers. Other BenefitsWe also offer life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance on your first day of employment for you and optional additional coverage for you and your family. We also offer short- and long-term disability after 90 days of service; flexible spending accounts for health care and dependent day care; and paid time off after three months of service. Tuition/Education ReimbursementSouthern New Mexico Surgery Center strives to provide a convenient and inexpensive way for staff at all levels to develop leadership skills and prepare for advancement opportunities. To help our nurses and staff develop to their fullest potential after one year of full time employment, employees are eligible for a portion of tuition/educational reimbursement at the discretion of the medical director and or Facility Administrator. We offer continuing education classes for most licensed clinical professionals with most classes available at no cost and support for certification.
